Ranjeet Sivaraman joined Family Services in 2014 and currently serves as the Vice President for Finance. In this capacity, Ranjeet provides strategic leadership to the agency’s finance functions and stewardship of its programs across Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange Counties. His oversight of Finance encompasses critical business functions including grants administration, behavioral health billing, administration of fiscal policies, budget and financial planning, payroll, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchasing. As a member of leadership, Ranjeet works with Program Directors, Department Vice Presidents, Staff, and the Board of Directors to carry out the agency’s mission and embody its values as they strive to build a stronger and safer Hudson Valley.
Ranjeet brings almost two decades of professional experience in accounting and management of financial and capital resources for a variety of corporations, not-for-profits, and sole proprietorships. He has enthusiastically served as volunteer and Board of Director at various cultural, community-based, and national nonprofit organizations. Ranjeet holds a Master of Business Administration in Public Accountancy from The State University of New York at New Paltz, a Certificate in Not-for-Profit I from The American Institute of CPAs, and a Bachelor of Accountancy with a Minor in Sociocultural Anthropology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Outside of work Ranjeet enjoys spending time with his family exploring the Hudson Valley, eating at Rossi’s (Clover Street), and dancing to music.”
