Center Director for Poughkeepsie Behavioral Health Center

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Jessica Pelletier LCSW-R recently joined Family Services as the Center Director of the Poughkeepsie Behavioral Health Center. Jessica began her career in Harlem, NY with NYC Children’s Services where she spent 10 years serving the community. Over the course of her career, she has held various leadership roles with NYC Children’s Services, St. Dominic’s Home, The Boys & Girls Club of Newburgh and NAUC. Jessica has a long history of staff training & development, mentoring, advocacy for the LGBTQIA community, suicide prevention, and direct service to those diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Sacred Heart University and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University where she was designated as her graduating class’s Keynote Speaker. Jessica maintains close ties with her alma mater as an adjunct professor in their MSW program since 2013.
