Become a Hope Champion

We’re building a community of Hope Champions: passionate individuals who believe everyone deserves the right to thrive.

When you create a fundraiser, you’re doing more than raising money.

You’re raising awareness.
You’re starting conversations.
You’re inspiring generosity.
You’re inviting others to become part of the solution.

Whether you raise $50 or $5,000, every fundraiser helps strengthen our community and expand access to life-changing services.

How to Get Started

Step 1

Create your personal fundraising page, set an achievable goal, and customize it to you: tell us why you’re inspired to fundraise for us.

Step 2

Share posts from our fundraising toolkit on social media (below) or invite your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to join you or to donate.

Step 3

Celebrate every gift and every person who joins the mission!

What Your Support Makes Possible

Safety

Helping survivors, victims, and community members access support.

Preventing and interrupting violence before it escalates.

Connecting people with essential resources when they’re undergoing chronic mental or physical illness.

Growth

Supporting youth enrichment and teaching them about healthy choices.

Providing families with opportunities to become stronger and safer at home.

Hope

Building a more resilient community with pathways to a brighter future.

Tell your story:

Connect Family Services’ work with why you care:

  • “I believe everyone deserves access to mental health care.”
  • “I want survivors in our community to know they are not alone.”
  • “I believe every young person deserves opportunities to grow and thrive.”

Set an example:

Make the first donation yourself and kick off the momentum: it could be $5, $10, or more!

Set a specific goal:

Choose an amount that feels achievable to you. Every amount makes a difference.

Make personal asks:

A direct text message is often more effective than a social media post for fundraising, while social media can more likely connect someone with resources they don’t know of. Ask immediate family, close friends, colleagues, or your employer if they’ll match your initial donation.

Sample Fundraising Page Story:

Why I Give

I believe everyone deserves the right to thrive.

That’s why I’m raising $X for Family Services, an organization that helps individuals and families across our community find safety, healing, growth, and hope through mental health services, victim advocacy, youth programs, violence prevention initiatives, and community support.

I’ve created this fundraiser because I know that challenges like violence, trauma, isolation, and mental health struggles affect people in every community.

No one should have to face those challenges alone.

I’m inviting you to join me in supporting work that changes lives every day.

Any gift, no matter the size, helps create a stronger, healthier, and more hopeful community.

Thank you for being part of this mission.
