Family Partnership Center (FPC) Reservations – FAQ
Q: What types of spaces are available for reservations at the FPC?
A: The FPC has several space options that are available for reservation: (See additional space details at the end of this document)
1. Gymnasium (Full size standard high school gymnasium)
2. Auditorium (seats 650)
3. Cafeteria (no kitchen available / seats 50)
4. Conference Room (seats up to 12)
5. Classroom (seats up to 30)
6. 1st Floor Lobby / Duffy Community Room (more suitable for tabling)
7. Outdoor Space (grass area or concrete surface)
Q: Are there any amenities offered with reservations at the FPC?
A: The FPC can offer up to 6 folding tables and 40 folding chairs for reservations. Tables and chairs are delivered to the reserved space prior to the event and set up is the responsibility of the requestor. If additional tables or chairs are being rented by an external vendor, the requestor must be present to take delivery. Tables and chairs are not available for outdoor use.
The Auditorium is equipped with a podium, built in sounds system (with external AUX audio input capability), 5 wireless microphones, and 2 mic stands. A projector is available (for the Auditorium only) at an additional fee of $50/day. Requestors must bring their own laptop (with an HDMI port) to connect to our projector.
All requests for additional amenities must be made at the time of the original request. Requests for additional amenities within 48 hours of the event may not be honored.
Q: What are my responsibilities as the reservation requestor?
A: All event set up, management, logistics, execution, clean up, and advertising. The FPC does not provide any support staff, IT support, or external vendor management. While the FPC does have a Safety & Security Team, they are not event-specific security. The FPC Safety & Security Team is available for emergencies and general security for the entire FPC campus during events. Additional fees may be added for damage to the facility or inappropriate event clean up.
Q: Can we decorate / post fliers for events is the FPC?
A: Yes, bulletin boards are available on each floor (next to the main elevator) for posting event fliers with push pins. Decorations inside reserved event spaces must not damage the facility in any way. The use of duct tape, packing tape, scotch tape, double-sided tape, stickers, nails, Velcro, glue, etc. is not permitted. Blue painter’s tape is the only acceptable method for attaching anything to floors, ceilings, or walls in the FPC. Fliers / lawn signs of any kind may not be posted anywhere (with the exception of the designated bulletin boards) on the property without express permission from Family Services.
Q: Does it cost anything to reserve a space for an event or program at the FPC?
A: Yes, the rate for one-day events is $75/hour during the FPC’s normal operating hours and $150/hour outside of normal operating hours. Discounted rates are available for multi-day or weekly reoccurring events based on the specifics of the event. Events with attendance exceeding 300 may incur an additional security fee. Reservation payments must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event date and can be made via cash, check, or money order.
Q: Are there any additional requirements to reserve space at the FPC?
A: Yes, for all reservations, a certificate of liability insurance that specifically names Family Services as additionally insured in limits of not less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence in connection with bodily injury and damage to property must be provided at least 48 hours prior to the event date. Third party additions to events (i.e. food trucks, petting zoos, etc.) must also provide liability insurance, naming Family Services as additionally insured. There are no exceptions to these requirements.
Q: Is Wi-Fi available in the FPC?
A: All indoor spaces in the FPC (with the exception of the Gym) have access to our guest Wi-Fi (unsecured). Hard wired internet connections are not available.
Q: How much notice is required to reserve a space at the FPC?
A: Generally speaking, two weeks is the minimum notice for events. The more notice we receive the greater the chance the space will be available. Please be aware that reservations are not valid until you receive an email confirmation. It is strongly advised that advertisements and/or other logistical commitments are not distributed or finalized until you receive a confirmation email.

Q: What if I need to cancel a confirmed reservation?
A: It is expected that cancelations are communicated as soon as they are determined. Failure to communicate cancelations may impact confirmation of future requests.
