Vice President for Human Resources, Risk Management and Organizational Development
Chris joined Family Services in 2013 and currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources, Risk Management, and Organizational Development. In over a decade in the HR field Chris has been responsible for developing and coordinating all aspects of HR through the use of best practices as well as providing guidance and oversight of related risk management activities and organizational quality improvement initiatives. Chris is passionate about mission-driven work, about developing and coaching great talent in the non-profit sector, and general organizational development work – specifically seeing organizations such as Family Services change, grow and reach their potential.
Chris has a BA in psychology from Roberts Wesleyan College, an MA in psychology from Medaille College, and an Ed.D. in executive leadership from St. John Fisher College. His masters thesis focused on district attorney’s attitudes towards partner violence and his dissertation focused on the topics of executive coaching and transformational leadership.
Chris is also involved in the community serving as chair of the board for Rebuilding Together Dutchess County, serving on the HR committee for Anderson Center for Autism, and teaching at Marist College in the School of Professional Programs.
